Signup Schedule Reminder
The first round of Intercon X signups is tomorrow, Thursday November 6th at 7:00 PM EST! Make sure to populate your signup queue if you haven’t already! For more information on how to do so, please see our guide on using the queue system, our FAQ page, and our suggestions for what to do depending on your priorities. And here is a link to the schedule for your convenience.
This year's signups will be on:
- Thursday, November 6th, 7PM - One game.
- Wednesday, November 12th, 7PM - Two games total.
- Tuesday, November 18th, 7PM - Three games total.
- Thursday, November 20th, 7PM - Four games total.
- Monday, November 24th, 7PM - Five games total.
- Monday, November 24th, 7:15PM- Registration limits removed - all the games!

The last section of this email contains a list of events added since the schedule went live, but if you’d prefer to browse them on the Intercon website, you can go to the events page on the website and select “sort by order added (newest first)” or just click here to view the most recently added events!
Iron GM
Iron GM is a LARP-writing challenge sponsored by New England Interactive Literature (NEIL). The writing weekend will be 8 PM Friday January 16th to 8 PM Saturday January 17th 2026 EST; the running times for competing games will be Sunday March 1st 2026 11 AM and 2 PM at Intercon X. Full rules can be found on the Intercon website.
The basic timeline is as follows:
- By December 31st 2025: Teams of 2-5 writers can sign up here. The first six teams are guaranteed the option to run their game and compete for a cash prize at Intercon X if they submit a completed game, but anyone can join the challenge to write!
- At 8pm on Friday, January 16th 2026: writing teams are emailed a genre, a theme, an element, and a prop. Examples can be found in the rules.
- Can’t make those dates? Need a time adjustment? Can’t start on a Friday? Contact iron-gm@interactiveliterature.org – we are excited to work with you to find an alternative time!
- From Tuesday January 20th-noon on Sunday February 15: Readers will read, score, and provide constructive feedback for games. Interested in being a Reader? Sign up here!
- On Sunday March 1st 2026: six competing games will run (three each at 11 AM and 2 PM), with players scoring the game(s) they play. If you’d like to play, add slots to your queue for 11 AM or 2 PM.
