In just two days, doors will open for Intercon X! We look forward to seeing all your costumes, staying up too late, and sharing the joys of LARP with both old friends and new connections. Let's all keep to the spirit of xenia.
Please remember that we are requiring all attendees to submit proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of their arrival at the convention. To do so, please fill out this form and send a picture of your negative test result to preconcheck@x.interconlarp.org. This form is also linked with a button on the Intercon home page.
Ops has a limited supply of COVID tests and masks freely-available to our attendees; just come by the Ops desk and ask! Intercon is requesting a $5 contribution for each test requested after your first one. We also have a COVID Resources page containing some hopefully helpful resources, which is also linked with a button on the Intercon home page.
We hope you’ll join us as we host Intercon Y: Year and a Day, together. It will take place from February 25 through 28, 2027! We have a website up at https://y.interconlarp.org and we’re already accepting larp proposals! If you want to join the team, reach out to the conchair, Alison Joy, who has this message for the community:
In the old stories and myths, a Year and a Day is the measure of wonders: the span of a quest, the length of an enchantment, the price of a fae bargain freely given. It is the time it takes for a life to change.
So for Intercon Y, I ask you to be bold! Be whimsical! Say YES to the strange path, the untried role, the story that glimmers just beyond what you're used to. When we sign up for a larp or write one, we are stepping across a threshold, inviting others to follow us into worlds where anything might happen. For a Year and a Day, let us believe in impossible things!
And so I extend an invitation, as bright and dangerous as moonlight dancing on water:
For Intercon Y, come run away to Faerie with me!
