Volunteering Opportunities
Do you want to give back to Intercon? Here is a list of various logistical tasks we could use help with, set up as events to make signing up easy! Of particular note are the Ops shifts: they run all weekend in 1-hour increments, so if you’ve got a spare hour at some point, we’d love your help! No experience required! If you’d like to learn more about what Ops volunteering entails, you can contact the Ops chair.
Intercon Store
The Intercon Store is open, featuring Intercon X branded swag! Available this year are a stainless steel water bottle, a sticker, two colors of totes, two designs of T-shirts, a sport polo, and a hoodie (clothing items all have multiple colors available). These are being sold at cost: Intercon doesn’t make a penny of profit off of them.
NEIL Annual Meeting
Are you interested in running for Intercon Y Conchair, NEIL President, NELCO 2026 Chair, or LBC 2026 Coordinator? The NEIL annual meeting and election will be via on-line Google Meet on January 11, at 4pm. You can see the Google Calendar event, including the Google Meet link.
One important item of business this meeting is the updated COVID policy for events between April 2026 and April 2028. If you want to give feedback on the proposed policy, please email David Kapell or attend the meeting! You can also email him for more information, to nominate yourself, or to submit a policy proposal for the community or board.
