Reminder: Intercon Signups Round 3!
The third round of Intercon signups begins tonight, November 19th at 7PM EST! In addition, the fourth round will start this week on Thursday, Nov 21st also at 7pm. This year's remaining signups will be on:
- Tuesday, November 19th, 7PM - Three games total.
- Thursday, November 21st, 7PM - Four games total.
- Monday, November 25th, 7PM - Registration limits removed - all the games!
Several great events have been added to the schedule since the last round of signups:
- LARP: Night Forest run by Matt Mitchell - Fri 12:00am
- LARP: The Addams Family: Til Death run by Vivien Lasken - Fri 2:00pm
- LARP: Force Multiplier run by Jenny Diewald - Sun 9:00am
Intercon is Temporarily Full!
Due to the amazing influx of new and returning attendees, we’ve made the hard decision to cut off new badges when we hit 550 attendees! (That’s 55 more than our previous record!) We took this action to prioritize the convention experience of the attendees already registered, as we are running very low on spaces for new larps to add to the schedule. Our current plan is to release new tickets, at a discounted price, starting roughly one week after open signups begin, to allow new attendees to fill remaining slots in games and waitlists. Next year, we will have additional function space, that can hold more larger games, so we’ll be able to accommodate more attendees! This is a very exciting problem to have, but it is still a problem, and we appreciate your understanding.
Support the Con!
Intercon is made possible through the help and attendance of so many people. One way that you can help Intercon is by buying food from the concessions that will be set up in the Atrium from Friday evening onwards. Food will be available to eat there, or takeaway to eat in your own space. This significantly helps us meet the costs of renting the space to hold the convention.
Additionally, the cash bar that will be available at Friday’s Adventurer’s Tavern Night (with con-provided pizza) and Saturday’s Intercon Dance and Bar events also goes towards this. Please consider signing up and coming for a drink or soda after your games (or between them!)
Iron GM Contest!
Iron GM is a LARP-writing contest sponsored by New England Interactive Literature (NEIL), and sign-ups are now open! The writing weekend will be 8pm Friday January 10th to 8pm Saturday January 11th (alternate dates available); the games will run on the Sunday of Intercon W.
