The 1st Round of Signups Opens Tomorrow!

The first round of Intercon W signups are tomorrow, Thursday November 7th, at 7:00PM EDT!

This year's signups will be on:

We have a signup FAQ with some tips for signing up. The short version is you can navigate to the game you want and click the signup link for the bucket you want to sign up in. If signups are not yet open, you'll get a notice to that effect. If they are open, you'll get signed up or waitlisted and an e-mail to that effect. No page reload is needed when signups open. Please note that confirmation of COVID vaccination and boosters are due on January 1st, 2025, not at time of signups, although you will need to have a badge for the convention to sign up.

The schedule for Intercon W is the most full we’ve ever had at the start of signups, and there’s a long list of new and shifted larps since the schedule went live at the end of this email.  To view the most recently added events, you can go to the events page on the website and select “sort by order added (newest first)”, or click here to view the most recently added events!

A Personal Note from the Conchair and NEIL President

We just wanted to take a moment in this newsletter to say that we know that many people in the Intercon community and each of your own communities are having a hard time today, and to say that we love how this community comes together each year to tell stories together, and supports each other in our creative and personal endeavors.  We’ve been involved in this community for the last 25 years, through many shifts internal and external, and every year, we gather to laugh and sob, scheme and support, dance and fight, and make art.  We’re looking forward to seeing all of you at Intercon, and going on another marvelous journey.

COVID Policy

Everyone attending Intercon W will be required to provide proof of up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 as defined by the CDC, of having received the latest applicable booster or vaccine available in their country of residence. This includes this fall’s updated vaccination for US residents. You do not need to have provided this proof before signing up for games.

If you have sent us your proof longer than two days ago, and have not received a response, there's a chance that the attachment was too large, and you should re-try sending it, or send us an email to arrange a different way of getting the image to us.

Book Your Room!

Now is a great time to book your hotel room for Intercon W! Once again, we’re returning to the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, Rhode Island. When you book your room, you can specify if you prefer a quiet or active floor, and the hotel will do their best to accommodate your requests.  You can call them at (401) 732-6000 or use their website. Our group code is LAR, so remember to put that in to get the con rate and help us out; your support is especially appreciated this year!
